Lions Tour FAQs

Seating
WHAT TICKET CATEGORIES EXIST FOR EACH MATCH?

There are four main ticket categories for The Lions Tour 2025 – Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Platinum is the highest priced and located in prime areas within each stadium.

Alcohol Free Seating is also available for all matches. Additional seating categories may be available for some matches. All ticket categories are subject to availability.

CAN I SELECT SPECIFIC SEATS WHEN BUYING TICKETS?

Ticket purchasers will be offered the best available seats in their selected category (or best available if no specific category is selected). Seat selection for The Lions Tour will only be available at all times to Wallabies First Lions Edition members as a benefit of their membership.

ARE TICKETS SOLD AS RESERVED SEATS OR GENERAL ADMISSION?

All public tickets for The Lions Series 2025™ are sold as reserved seats, with each ticket holder assigned to a specific seat listed on their ticket. The only exceptions to this rule are below, which are subject to availability:

  • Adelaide Oval: General Admission standing room on The Hill
  • MCG: Standing Room (may not be available at all times)
WHAT IS THE ‘WALLABIES GOLD BRIGADE’ AREA?

The Wallabies Gold Brigade is a specific ticket category that includes a seat located within a dedicated Wallabies supporter area for the Test Matches between the Lions and Wallabies.

WHAT IS ALCOHOL FREE SEATING?

Alcohol-free seating is a reserved seating area within which alcohol cannot be consumed. These areas will be clearly marked during purchase and on ticket(s). People ticketed to these areas may only consume alcohol in other non-ticketed areas of the ground such as stadium bars.

WILL MY SEATS BE UNDERCOVER?

No venue hosting a match during the Lions Series 2025™ offers guaranteed protection from the elements. It is recommended to dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Please note that whilst umbrellas may be permitted into the venue (subject to the individual Venue’s Conditions of Entry) they cannot be opened in the seating or concourse areas.

CAN I EXCHANGE MY TICKETS FOR DIFFERENT SEATS?

No. All purchases are final.

WHAT IS A RESTRICTED VIEW SEAT?

All restricted view seats made available for purchase will be flagged in the ticketing system as ‘Restricted View’. A purchaser will have to agree to selecting a Restricted View seat at the time of purchase. Restricted View information will also be listed on the ticket.

Tickets purchased with the restricted view flag will not be entitled to a relocation or a refund due to their impaired view. All restricted view seats will be sold at the full ticket price for that category – there will be no discounted tickets.

CAN I SELECT AISLE SEATING?

Information regarding aisle seating will be available during the ticket purchase process.

WHAT IS A STANDING ROOM TICKET AT THE MCG?

The MCG has standing room bays (at the back of the Level 1 seating areas). Fans with a Standing Room Ticket do not have a reserved seat and can only view the match from allocated standing bays.

There are no age limits on who can enter the standing room bay, however as there are no seats in this area, we recommend that you only purchase if your group is able to stand for the entire event.

Your view of the ground depends on the standing room bay your ticket is for. However, standing room tickets allow for a majority of the playing surface to be seen and a scoreboard or television screen.

Positions in standing room bays are available on a first-come, first-served basis. It is in your best interest to arrive as early as possible.

Stools, walking stools on wheels, cushions, portable chairs and prams are not permitted in standing room bays.

WHAT IS THE GENERAL ADMISSION HILL AT ADELAIDE OVAL?

General Admission at Adelaide Oval is a ticket type used to describe the standing room grass embankment where patrons are admitted to a designated standing room area rather than allocated a specific seat. If you buy a General Admission Hill ticket for the match at Adelaide Oval, this area is operated on a first-come, first-served basis. When you arrive at the venue, you may be directed to the available sections by the event staff.

WHY ARE SOME SEATS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

As with all events, some seats for each match will be set aside for operational requirements and contractual obligations. The number of seats allocated for these purposes is limited to maximise seats available for public sale.
