The Rugby We Breathe

The Rugby We Breathe
About Us

If you came here looking for the typical corporate text full of fancy words like “synergy” or “360° vision,” we have two pieces of news: one good and one bad. The bad news is that you won’t find it here. The good news is that you’ve landed on the most passionate (and probably the loudest) website about the British and Irish Lions tour.

This project was born out of a shared obsession with rugby, several discussions about whether the best fly-half is from the north or the south, and the firm conviction that a Lions match deserves more than just four cold facts. Here you’ll find analysis, passion, and the efforts of a team that, although diverse in accents and specialties, has one thing in common: we’ve all sacrificed hours of sleep for a last-minute try. We are your team of experts, but with the same excitement as a fan with their face painted in the stands. Welcome, may the scrum be with you.

Nelson

Nelson, And here is the alma mater, the man who once said, “Why don’t we make our own Lions website?” Nelson is the embodiment of the maxim that enthusiasm (and a dash of stubbornness) can move mountains… or at least create a website from scratch. A true Venezuelan, his passion for rugby is directly proportional to his passion for tequeños, and almost as great as his unshakeable belief that Los Pumas can beat anyone.

Katiusca

Katiusca is living proof that you can be Venezuelan, have sunshine in your blood, and yet be hopelessly lost in a sport played in the rain and mud. As a Rugby Roll journalist, her pen is as sharp as a fullback on his best day, but her heart is as big as a prop at the back of a scrum.

Castor

Irvly is our man on the border, the spy who walks between two worlds. While everyone else is discussing lineups and tactics in the Northern Hemisphere, he has his eye on what’s happening on the other side of the world. An expert on the Australian League, Irvly sees the game as a chessboard, except that the pieces are much faster and won’t hesitate to elbow you if you let your guard down.
