1. Who we are
This website is Lions Series 2025 (lionsseries2025.rugby), an independent publisher of rugby league and rugby union draws, ladders, results and ticket information. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the British & Irish Lions, Rugby Australia, the NSWRL, or any club or competition mentioned on this site.

2. What we collect
Information you give us
If you sign up for ticket alerts or send us a message, we collect the details you enter in that form — typically your name and email address. We only ask for what the form needs.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we and our providers collect technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how long you stayed, and the site or search that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. Why we use it
- To send what you asked for. If you sign up for ticket alerts, we email you when tickets for the competitions you chose go on sale. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form.
- To reply to you. If you contact us, we use your details to answer. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- To run and improve the site. Understanding which pages are read helps us decide what to publish. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- To show advertising. Advertising keeps the site free to read. Legal basis: consent where required, otherwise legitimate interest.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email address with other companies for their own marketing.
4. Advertising and cookies
This site is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense and Grow (Mediavine). Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors at aboutads.info.
We also use Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns. You can prevent this with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Where required by law, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through that banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
5. Who else handles your data
We use a small number of providers to run the site. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Our web host — stores the site and its database.
- Fluent Forms / FluentCRM — stores form submissions and the email list.
- Google (AdSense, Analytics) and Grow / Mediavine — advertising and measurement.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers publish, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep alert sign-ups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep contact messages for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry. Analytics data is retained according to the provider’s standard retention period.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live — and this applies in full if you are in the UK or the EEA — you have the right to ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your data;
- stop or limit how we use it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these, use our contact page. Every marketing email we send also contains a one-click unsubscribe link. We will respond within one month.
If you are in the UK or EEA and you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
8. Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes affecting how we use your personal data will be notified to subscribers by email.
